Male or Female????

HIJRA....

In South Asia, many hijras live in well-defined, organized, all-hijra communities, led by a guru. These communities have sustained themselves over generations by "adopting" young boys who are rejected by, or flee their family of origin. Many work as sex workers for survival.
The word hijra is Urdu, derived from the Arabic root hjr in its sense of "leaving one's tribe," and has been borrowed into Hindi. The Indian usage has traditionally been translated into English as "eunuch" or "hermaphrodite," where "the irregularity of the male genitalia is central to the definition." However, in general hijras are born with typically male physiology, only a few having been born with male inter sex variations. Some Hijras undergo an initiation rite into the hijra community called nirwaan, which refers to the removal of penis, testicles and scrotum.
Since the late 20th century, some hijra activists and Western non-government organizations (NGOs) have been lobbying for official recognition of the hijra as a kind of "third sex" or "third gender," as neither man nor woman.
As for our country Malaysia, this type of person or community cannot be accepted because it break the law in Islam. In addition, it will give bad perception toward our country. This type of community should be vanished from this world...

ARE THEY OUT OF THEIR MIND???

LAND DIVING.

The origin of land diving is described in a legend of a woman who was dissatisfied with her husband, Tamalie (or some variation of the name). It is sometimes claimed that the woman was upset that her husband was too vigorous regarding his sexual wants, so she ran away into the forest. Her husband followed her, so she climbed a banyan tree. Tamalie climbed after her, and so she tied lianas to her ankles and jumped and survived. Her husband jumped after her, but did not tie lianas to himself, which caused him to plummet and die. The men performed the original land diving so that they would not be tricked again.
The land diving ritual is associated with the annual yam harvest. It is performed annually in the months of April, May, or June. A good dive helps ensure a bountiful yam harvest.
The villagers believe land diving can enhance the health and strength of the divers. A successful dive can remove the illnesses and physical problems associated with the wet season. Furthermore, land diving is considered as an expression of masculinity, as it demonstrates boldness that was associated with the bwahri or warrior.Nevertheless, the men who do not choose to dive or back out of diving are not humiliated as cowards.
In the Sa language, gol refers to both the tower and the land dive. The tower symbolically represents a body, with a head, shoulders, breasts, belly, genitals, and knees. The diving platforms represent the penises and the struts beneath representing the vaginas.
In my opinion, this ritual is stupid and crazy. If they doing wrong or make a mistake during the ritual, it can cause death. But, that was their ritual and belief. We as a foreigner should respect their culture.

IRONY........???

What is irony?
The use of words to convey the opposite of their literal meaning; a statement or situation where the meaning is contradicted by the appearance or presentation of the idea.

Three kinds of irony are commonly recognized:
  1. Verbal irony is a trope in which the intended meaning of a statement differs from the meaning that the words appear to express.

  2. Situational irony involves an incongruity between what is expected or intended and what actually occurs.

  3. Dramatic irony is an effect produced by a narrative in which the audience knows more about present or future circumstances than a character in the story.
Example of irony:

Drinking moderate amounts of alcohol can prevent heart disease whereas drinking...... drinking moderate amounts of alcohol can prevent heart disease whereas drinking heavily can stop it.

Studying psychology can make one crazy?

SYLLOGISM!!!

Hye guy's....what you know about syllogism?

A syllogism is valid (or logical) when its conclusion follows from its premises. A syllogism is true when it makes accurate claims-that is, when the information it contains is consistent with the facts. To be sound, a syllogism must be both valid and true. However, a syllogism may be valid without being true or true without being valid.
   Example of syllogism:
The process of deduction has traditionally been illustrated with a syllogism, a three-part set of statements or propositions that includes a major premise, a minor premise, and a conclusion.
Major premise: All books from that store are new.

Minor premise: These books are from that store.

Conclusion: Therefore, these books are new.
 Now you try it.....

WHO IS JULIUS CAESAR???

Caesar was a politician and general of the late Roman republic, who greatly extended the Roman Empire before seizing power and making himself dictator of Rome, concrete the way for the imperial system.

Julius Caesar was born in Rome on 12 or 13 July 100 BC into the prominent Julian clan. His family were closely connected with the Marian party in Roman politics. Caesar himself progressed within the Roman political system, becoming in sequence quaestor (69), aedile (65) and praetor (62). In 61-60 BC he served as governor of the Roman area of Spain. Back in Rome in 60, Caesar made a pact with Pompey and Crassus, who helped him to get elected as consul for 59 BC. The following year he was appointed governor of Roman Gaul where he stayed for eight years, adding the whole of modern France and Belgium to the Roman Empire, and making Rome safe from the option of Gallic invasions. He made two expeditions to Britain, in 55 BC and 54 BC.
Caesar was now master of Rome and made himself consul and dictator. He used his power to carry out much-needed reform, relieving debt, enlarging the senate, building the Forum Iulium and revising the calendar. Dictatorship was always regarded a temporary position but in 44 BC, Caesar took it for life. His success and ambition alienated strongly republican senators. A group of these, lead by Cassius and Brutus, assassinated Caesar on the Ides (15) of March 44 BC. This sparked the final round of civil wars that ended the Republic and brought about the elevation of Caesar's great nephew and designated heir, Octavian, as Augustus, the first emperor.

JACK THE RIPPER!!!

During last three week, our lecturer sir Kamaraziz has give us a task to make an experiment and investigation towards the suspect and choose the best suspect that can be claim the real Jack The Ripper. We had been divided into 6 group. Every each of group must choose one of the suspects and have to defend why they choose that person. The persecutor must play a role to fight with defender.

As for my group, we had chosen SIR JOHN WILLIAMS because he has the criteria of Jack The Ripper.
We choose him because, based on the evidence that we found in the investigation of Metropolitan police his personality is match with the evidence. As we all known, Jack the Ripper is a perfectionist person and have an expertise in surgery. So, because of that we think he was the perfect suspect. here are some of his background. Williams was born in Carmarthenshire, the son of a Welsh Congregational minister. He went to school in Swansea, then to the University of Glasgow, and finally to University College HospitalLondon, to complete his medical studies. In 1872 he married Mary Hughes, but they had no children. In 1886, he became a private doctor to the royal family. As well as his career as an obstetric surgeon in London, he helped set up a Welsh hospital in South Africa during the Boer War, and was involved in the campaign against tuberculosis in his native country.

Furthermore, we choose him because he has lots of motif. One of the motif is, he hate prostitute so much. It is because lots of prostitute came to her to make an abortion. As a person who want a child very much, he feel angry when the prostitute do like that.

On the other hand, John William is a royal private doctor. He was not only a royal private doctor but also an adviser towards Queen Victoria. After the Queen know that Prince Albert had married with one of the prostitute, she asked Sir William to investigate about it. As the servant to royal family, he do the investigation.

In addition, based on police investigation also, they claim that the murder is an expert surgeon and have high skill's in surgery. This is because, all of the victim had been murder perfectly and it can been done by a person that have an expertise in surgery.

In conclusion, as for our group, SIR JOHN WILLIAM is JACK THE RIPPER because his personality is match with the real murderer and the evidence.
